I usually use disposables and love the idea that these alternatives are more environmentally friendly, even down to the maize packaging.
I really dislike the fact that disposables take up so much space in land fills, but I never made the leap to washables - these nappies provide the perfect solution for me.
I loved the design. The nappies were very absorbent which caused no problems when worn all night. The outer had a soft feel and soft sides which made them look comfortable and my son certainly liked the idea of progressing towards something more like pants! Very easy up and down. No complaints there.
I used the Maxi Plus size, but I think he could have done with a slightly smaller size as these nappy pants seemed to come up bigger than their disposable counterpart (a few problems encountered with leakage of poo!). Also the sides were quite tough to tear which proved to be a bit messy with a wriggly 2 year old!
As my son is approaching the potty training stage, I have found that these training pants not only allow him to move freely and feel secure, but it also means that I am doing my bit for the environment.
