I use cloth nappies most of the time, so when I use disposables the environmental impact of them is an important issue for me. Nature Babycare nappies are made from 70% natural materials and covered with a film made from maize.
This gives the nappy a papery feel compared to other disposables, but my baby seemed very comfortable in them. I found Nature nappies to be very reliable, as there were no leaks - even overnight - and my baby’s skin always felt dry. They fitted well round the legs and fastened with sticky tape - it was easy to reseal the nappy if it needed to be adjusted.
Nature wipes also performed well, even though they seemed quite thin compared to some other wipes. They are fragrance free which is great! The wipes are moist enough, but towards the end of the packet they did seem to be too dry to use, probably due to the fact the packet was quite difficult to reseal after a while.
Nature nappy sacks are made from 100% GM-free maize. They are not perfumed, which I like, as I find the smell of those perfumed nappy sacks awful! They feel quite different to the usual nappy bags, but are tough. In fact, they are very stretchy as several nappies can be fitted in one bag.
Overall I liked the Nature babycare products. They performed just as well as other brands, but there is the bonus of being kinder to the environment.
