As a mum who has tried several different brands of breast pads I was very impressed with Nature babycare’s Eco Nursing Pads. They are similar in size and shape to the supermarket own brands, but there the similarity ends.
The Eco pads are very absorbent and do not leak through which is very important for someone like myself with an abundant milk supply! I found I only needed to change them twice a day, as opposed to up to four times a day with less absorbent varieties. They also didn’t stick to my skin when they got damp, and it doesn’t seem to matter which way round you use them.
Personally, I could do with them being slightly larger in size as I found they moved around a bit inside my bra - I had a couple of instances where they’d moved a bit too far and I had some tell-tale signs on my t-shirt! In saying that, I seem to have that problem with all brands, even those with a larger diameter and a sticky back.
Overall I think they’re a very good nursing pad. It’s great to know that an environmentally friendly product can be just as good, if not better than the big name brands.
