method flushable bathroom wipes were very handy for me as I am mostly in a rush and constantly clearing up after my family. The size and quantity of the wipes were convenient and meant that I could stash it away in a small cupboard or shelf.
It had a lovely delicate smell which was not too strong and over-powering, or smelling of bleach. Although, I did have to remind my lot that "IT IS NOT A BOTTY WIPE!" Not that it would do any real harm, because it was free from any harsh chemicals that would eventually poison the pond life. As an eco-minded consumer, I do try to buy products that have little or no toxins and preservatives.
Despite it's good points I did not find the wipes to be all that effective. The wipes were very wet and would require that you dry the surface after using them. This is fine, except I'm a woman in a hurry, remember?
They were fine on toilet seats, cistern and flush handle etc., but poor on counter tops and bath. Rather than clean up dirt and dust, it pushed it around. Leaving surfaces quite wet afterwards. The wipes did not have a textured surface - something to help grip or pick up dirt. So in effect, it just made the bathroom smell nice and look wet.
Later, I decided to cut my losses on using it in the bathroom and see how it faired in the Kitchen. By this time, I was near the end of the pack, so the wipes became less soppy. The wipes were good in the kitchen, I could easily clean up spills and give everything a quick wipe down.
But the most magical thing of all was my granite kitchen counter top - it comes up a dream with these wipes!
