Christmas Shopping - Commando-style!

OK, listen up! You've got 'til 1900 hours to get all your shopping done and report back to base! Only kidding, but Imagine this, you're in deep trouble because you've left it to the last minute to do all your Christmas shopping - looks like Uncle Frank's going to get socks again this year..!

Avoid the panic and stress of last-minute Christmas shopping by adopting a 'Commando-style' approach. Here are some tips to get it all done in record time:

• First, get a note pad and pen and write down a list of all the people you intend to buy Christmas presents for, leaving a gap between each name.
• Beside each name, put in a budget limit of how much you're prepared to spend on them.
• Under each name, write down potential gift ideas that would suit that person. Make a note of their interests or hobbies. If not, just write down the shop or website where you are likely to find their suitable gift.
• Split the shopping trips in batches. i.e. if you've got 20 people to buy for, aim for doing the first 5 or 10 (depending on your time limit). Then another day, shop for the next batch and so on. You can even go as far as writing down deadline dates for when you intend to complete each shopping trip.
• Bring your note pad with you and check off as you go.

After Christmas, keep your list somewhere safe so you can refer to it for next year's shopping expedition. Merry Christmas!
